LIZ LAKE
Liz is an artist and printmaker. After graduating with a 1st class degree
from LCC in 2008 Liz moved to the States for a year followed by Argentina
for a further year. During her time in the Sates she worked in various
printmaking studios, taught workshops and apprenticed with the political
puppet theater group 'Bread and Puppet'. Whilst there her work was shown at
the New York Book Art Fair, 3rd Ward, Secret Project Robot, Alpha Beta, 5
Traverse Gallery Providence, RI, Southern Graphic Council Chicago and took
part in a project shown at Havana Art Biennial. During her year in South
America Liz had artist residencies at Residencia Corazon, Argentina, and
mARTadero, Bolivia, and was a visiting artist/teacher with the project Un
Vagon Hermoso, Argentina.

Since moving back to the UK Liz has held workshops in collaboration with
compARTment in Brighton and Bhasvic college, and exhibited at Lewes Artwave
and White Night Brighton, and was a Support Stipend Recipient of an Artist
Residency with Can Serrat International Arts Centre in El Bruc, Spain.
In July 2011 Liz was artist-in-residence at Cuckoo Farm Studios in
Colchester, which included an exhibition and artist talk at The Benham Gallery.
